BIJU GROUP, a global K-beauty distribution and trading company, has received a Ministerial Commendation from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in recognition of its contribution to expanding overseas distribution channels for Korean small and medium-sized beauty brands.
CEO Joanna Lee received the commendation at the 2026 Seoul Small and Medium Business Convention held at DMC Tower in Seoul on June 17. This follows BIJU GROUP’s previous Ministerial Commendation from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy at the 30th Korea Distribution Awards, marking another meaningful recognition of the company’s global distribution capabilities.
License News highlighted BIJU GROUP’s role as a global distribution platform that supports Korean beauty brands by reflecting each country’s customs procedures, retail environment, and consumer characteristics. The company currently works with major global partners including Gold Apple in Russia, Fattal Group in the Middle East, TJX in North America, and Guardian in Malaysia, while supporting the overseas expansion of approximately 150 Korean beauty brands.
BIJU GROUP currently exports K-beauty products to around 40 countries. With its Singapore entity serving as a logistics and distribution hub for Southeast Asia, the company plans to further expand into emerging markets such as Latin America and Africa. Going forward, BIJU GROUP aims to expand its export network to more than 60 countries and continue contributing to the sustainable global growth of K-beauty.
